We loved being part of this wedding! Despite the heat ~ the really, really, really hot heat, the day was awesome. Richelle & James had a quick ceremony outside in Dearborn MI. I witnessed my first ‘wine ceremony’… and since then have experienced another and will have another in 2 weeks. What is a wine ceremony you may ask? It’s a new trend that is replacing the lighting of the unity candle. Richelle & James wrote letters to each other that contained their feelings for one another, memories, etc. They will wait (20?) years to open them and drink the bottle of wine. I’m sure every couple will do theirs a bit different or not wait as long to open the wine, but that’s what makes it unique.  So move over sand ceremony… here comes the wine!  I also loved Richelle’s bouquet! (and her spirit, it was so nice to see how happy these two made each other) Thank you all for your fun personalities & letting Laurie and I be part of your day

Well, well, well…. finally. I’m back on my blog again.

When I first met Miranda & Bruce I was an instant Raiders fan but today as I write this, I consider myself now to be a Bengals fan Yes,  I even watched the last quarter of the first game yesterday! Wooohoo ~ way to take the win against the Browns (even though I grew up near Cleveland & my dad will probably growl at me for saying that, lol)! Anywho… these two have been married for several weeks now, images have been posted and books have been ordered but I can’t leave out the blog. We had a great day ~ Bruce & Miranda are two of the sweetest people I have met! Rochelle & I were honored to be part of their wedding and will never forget the joy we had watching these two get married. Their love is obvious. Thank you – Thank you – Thank you.

When I first met with Jess & Kevin, I laughed more than I talked…. and I know that’s not hard for me to do – but literally. I had a good 30 minutes of talking I HAD to do… but it took a lot longer in between the laughter. Awwww, thank you Kevin for being in my life and thank you Jess for marrying him! I can’t wait to be part of your celebration in November ~ how quickly it is reaching!

 

Had a great time with these two… along with their 4-legged pals at Maumee Bay State Park. Love this couple! They are so laid back together and make each other laugh so easily.  So glad they found love in Ohio! I am super excited about their wedding next May in Columbus

 

I hope this little one will be in my life for a long, long time. I was there the day her mom & dad exchanged rings, a few dinners out together and then around each holiday to get various photos over the past year. Adleigh is one lucky girl to have such fun, caring parents!
