Meet Danielle & Phil, married Saturday April 28th at Otsego Park, right outside of Grand Rapids. They were a super fun couple with huge smiles the whole time!! Danielle couldn’t make a straight face even she tried! The love they have for each other was so obvious – they are such a perfect fit. I wish you lots of luck with your new family! Congratulations ~ thanks for letting us spend your day with you! Here are some of my favorites…

Just so you know ~ Lately, I have had a few people asking if I do boudoir photos and I do! I do! They are the perfect ‘gift’ any gal could give their new husband…or if it’s too late and you are now happily married, maybe an anniversary gift or birthday gift. It’s a very intimate photo session that I prefer to do them in your home so that you are the most comfortable or I would be happy to make other arrangements. Here are just two samples from a recent session of a bride to be (that aren’t too revealing)!

YES! Finally the secret news is out! My brother eloped today…in Fort Lauderdale!! I now have another sister-in-law and couldn’t be happier! Kristen is perfect for Seth and vice versa. I only wish I could have been there AND believe me when I say that. (do you realize how hard it was to sit all day as a photographer in Ohio – when my ‘little’ brother & new wife were their exchanging their vows in Florida!!?) I was even looking at last minute flights last week to surprise them but the times wouldn’t allow me to get in and out when I needed to and I knew I could go for the night. Just a few people -me, my older brother & Kristen’s sister – knew of their secret plan to escape and have a very intimate ceremony by themselves during a weeks vacation. They are having a reception like party in June to celebrate. So congrats you two and hurry up home with the photographs!! It’s very stressful for me not see them right away on my computer!! We had a make-shift engagement session awhile back during the Thanksgiving Holiday at a visit to our parents house in Ashtabula, Ohio….here are my favorite three…

As many of you know, Mary (my assistant, my website creator, my problem solver, my personal photographer AND my good friend) is tieing the knot in June to Phil. Today was their wedding shower and it was a good day! I was glad to have met a lot of the ladies in Phil’s family, his mom, his grandma, his sister inlaw and lots of others. And I walked away with the main prize! woohoo, pretty pumped about my pasta cooker/server! But the guests of honor walked away with lots of goodies! Congrats you two! Here are few of my favorites from this afternoon ~

If you know anything about Mary + Phil it’s that they are both vegetarians…so I put together a veggie gift box. The tote says “You’re a hopocrite if you say you love animals, but you eat them!” – words to think about!!

That’s me!

The three of us, of course, snuck away and got a few more shots…
