Okay, all you bloogers, Listen UP!
My birthday is the all famous, most booked wedding date this year – 7-7, next Saturday. I’m going to (hopefully) attempt to do my first interacting blog post and at the same time have a contest! Please GUESS my age. Leave me a comment or send an email. All correct answers will then be put into a drawing and the winner will receive a special gift from me! Yeh! Happy Birthday to me!!

I love doing engagement sessions – that’s it, plain and simple! I highly recommend doing a session! They are so much fun and each one is so unique. Sunday evening, I met with Alysia and John at Maumee Bay. They are getting married in September, after 6 long years of dating! When Alysia booked with back in November, the original plan was to do this session in February as part as their anniversary celebration, well one thing led to another and wow it’s June and here we are! Since I hadn’t met John prior to the session and knew he liked beer, I thought I would treat them to a nice cold one before their session to give us time to chat and get to know one another…and I’m so glad I did! It’s amazing how relaxed and more laid back we all are after spending time together without the camera. And I learned they are big Dave Matthews Band fans and well if you know me, I just had to share my DMB story! So here are just a few of my favorites from Sunday ~

The bird had perfect timing!

I absolutely love this shot ~ Alysia & John are mimicing the shape of the trees, without knowing it and without me telling them! Photography is so neat to freeze this quick little moment that combines human and nature – love it!

This great couple, Alexia & David, were guests at Amy & Todd’s wedding! [and one of my couples getting married in August] I can’t wait !!! This was the first time I got to meet David and all I gotta say is that their wedding will definitely be a fun one, too!! I promised a shout out so here ya go! And by the way, I hope you had time to recover!

Another very fine wedding! Amy & Todd became husband and wife on Saturday. I don’t think we had anything go wrong – It was an all around perfect day. Before the ceremony, the ladies were chatting, laughing and primping themselves to look their best and the guys – well they were playing cards down the hall. It was a very laid back day with lots of joy and tears! Todd has this smile that I think only Amy can make him produce. The first image posted (during the ceremony) says it all. We had a fun bunch of bridal attendants!
