Carley & Steven

Monday, June 30th, 2008

Oooops ~ I forgot to post these and I hate getting out of order…

:)

A few weeks back (the Saturday I did not have a wedding scheduled) it just so happened that my long lost friend, Jenn, was in town for a few days visiting. She had planned on shooting another friend’s engagement session that day/evening so guess who I met up with and my camera just happened to follow. Here are my two favs from downtown at the docks. Carley & Steven will be getting married in September, but unfortunately I won’t be able to meet up then. :( I loved hanging out with you all – you two are super made for one another and hope for another fun night!

And while I was there photographing Carley & Steven, they pointed over towards the water and I saw I this!!…

Ian had just proposed to Liz (I found out their names after the fact). I missed ‘the moment’ but some pix are better than no pix, right!? So for those photographers out there who don’t have anything to do Saturday evenings…check out those hot spots for proposals! :) My guess that it would be less expensive than those darn bridal fairs – right??

Craig & Kelly

Monday, June 30th, 2008

Last week I met with Craig & Kelly for a session who have been married for 10 years (I think they said 10…forgive if I’m wrong). Anyway, they just wanted some up-to-date photos of them together! So we met and walked to ‘my’ park down the street for a quick session. It was fun dodging the rain and squinting at the sun every couple minutes, crazy weather. Enjoy your sneak peek!

Thanks again for the referral Rachael & Kyle…

Emma & Ashlyn

Monday, June 30th, 2008

Last week we (finally) had a chance to photograph the girls together again. It seemed the rain always came when we didn’t want it to or our busy schedules got in the way and now that Ashlyn is a little over 6 months ALREADY we needed to make time when an evening was finally dry because this shoot was definetly past due!! We all had a fun time running around at the Botanical Gardens and I know we appreciated your help John! Aren’t they cute?

It’s the little ones that remind us how fast time really does fly by. It will be July tomorrow and I can’t believe it! I’m right smack dab in the middle of busy season, which means less sleep and more time for photographs. I’m also 1 week from turning another year older! yikes.
Check back I have LOTS more to blog about! 1 family session, 2 ‘in love’ sessions, and 2 weddings…

Just a NOTE

Cassandra & Ben ~ 6.21.08

Thursday, June 26th, 2008

Despite the rain on Saturday (I mean down pours), Cassandra & Ben still became husband and wife and had a fun day all around. I was super happy to be part of it, too! I had the help of Emily of Smith Gallery by my side as my assistant and I appreciated the fact that she was available! It was our first time working together and hope she liked me enough to do it again sometime! :) We all had a great time. The dance floor was full the entire night! Cassandra & Ben enjoy your sneak peek & have a blast on the honeymoon!
