With not a whole lot of sleep and still on my ‘natural wedding high’ I met Sarah & her ladies at the salon on Saturday morning – which was a great start to a perfect wedding day. Sarah & Zach got married in Waterville and then celebrated in Swanton with lots of time in between – which is just the way I like it

Last Friday night, for the first time ever (for a wedding) I was in Ann Arbor at the Matthaei Botanical Gardens. It was gorgeous, I love outdoor weddings anywhere, but these gardens still had a lot of color and a lot of life in them even in September. Betsy & Matt were so much fun to work with, thank you for letting Emily & myself be part of your wonderful day! LOVE LOVE LOVE those shoes!

Last week I spent some time with these two lovebirds at Side Cut Park for their engagement session! Katie & Mike were both fun and relaxing to be around. It was pretty simple for Mike to make Katie laugh – which makes my job so much more easier! Looking forward to their wedding in August of next year. [Mike - I hope I did okay!!]

Last week ~ I finally met Luke [and Tara, but I met her awhile back] for their engagement session at his parents back yard…which coincidently runs right into the river. Which I thought was perfect & romantic – then add a swing to a really big tree and you’ve got really romantic! tah da ~

yep. Yesterday was our anniversary. Last year at six years didn’t feel as big of a deal as 7 means. Wow, it’s closer to 10 and seems like a much longer time. Like we should really be grown ups by now or something.

Anyway, I just wanted to take a moment to say thanks to my husband for all he’s done for Grant & I and for all he’s put up with the last oh 10 or so years. We’ve had a lot of great times & tough times which has made us stronger people and a much stronger couple. I love you Ben and not sure what I would have done without you many times. Thanks again for the flowers!
