ruthann & steve ~ 6.20.09

Saturday was yet another fine wedding day for us! The hottest it’s been so far, but still a perfect day. I knew Ruthann & Steve [and their 'wild' bridal party] would be easy to work with and with the amount of time we had between the ceremony & reception [3.5 hours!], there were no excsues not to listen to their photographer :) Something happen downtown Toledo that I’ve never witnessed before, at first it was pretty neat to see but after 15 minutes – I grew impatient and asked the bridal party to walk on the Cherry Street bridge, as it was up. I’m sure we were entertainment for many onlookers, yet still created some unique photos – then decided to move on. It was a great day! Thank you Ruthann & Steve for letting Laurel and I tag along doing what we love.  AND for taking my word on booking Hep Cat Revival! I know I enjoyed them once again!

I have to say that I loved the colors of this wedding…more + photo on that soon.

So enjoy your sneak peek!

As always, the details that make it your own day ~

Another fine wedding day for us! Mandy & I spent the day with Jennifer,  Jayson and their marvulous wedding party. We had such a great time with everyone. When I saw the bridesmaid dresses, I realized how much I love this color – it’s so fresh & fun that it just made me smile… Same goes for Jennifer & Jayson – they just made me smile all day long.  We had plenty of time for photos, which gave us time for 2 locations :) Jen looked so stunning that I felt proud to be her photographer! Speaking of Jen – I know I have a very anxious bride to view the sneak peek so let’s just get to them!

I first met this happy couple last March while photographing Ryan’s brother’s wedding [yeh for Nan & Kris!] We had fun then and had fun again – even into the weee hours of the morning :)

You could definitely tell that Ryan & Andy belong together. An emotional ceremony and an even more emotional toast by Ryan’s father gave me the proof. We found out they like to bowl and golf together, hence the little golf theme they had in the reception details…They met at their friends wedding, as members of their bridal party and now celebrated their own wedding a few years later. The wedding was at the Aladdin Shrine in Columbus and the weather was absolutely perfect for an outdoor ceremony. Mandy & I enjoyed ourselves so much and thank you all for a wonderful wedding day! Enjoy your sneak peek!

And a few details – which includes a shot of the cake made by Ryan’s Mom :)

I’m not really sure where to start with this couple. They have been so fun from the start, the initial meeting, the engagement session and now (ofcourse) the wedding day! Their story is simple & unique.  Her mom babysat him when they were 4 years old. ‘Went together’ a little in elementary, dated a tad in high school and met (yet again) years later at a karaoke bar. They make each other smile so easily, which in turn makes my job that much more easier. The day was a little emotional, even for me! The vows, the toasts and the love – so so much love! Mellisa did so well in her planning it seemed like she had hired someone, but nope she didn’t (hats off to you!). So enough of that, lets get to the point. Enjoy your sneak peek -

The grooms cake deserved to stand out a little…and I wanted to make sure you saw all the little ‘ac/dc’ all over it. Love it.
