I first met Nora & Curt almost 3 years ago at another wedding [;)] And Nora told me there that when she gets engaged I was going to photograph her wedding day.  Well she contacted me about 7 months later and booked me for her wedding day in July 2008.  She contacted me again to postpone the wedding another year and ‘booked’ again for July 10, 2009 – well,  I got nervous. Not too many couples do that and the chances are slim that day actually happens. But I got super lucky and was soooo happy to be part of it. After years of being together and having the cutest little boy, these two did tie the knot and finally become husband & wife. It was another great day of a great circle of friends that I have grown to love over the past few years – so thank you for letting me spend the day with you, Nora & Curt and congratulations ! I loved the colors (and the jelly bellys) – the bright colors of orangees, greens, yellows were so fitting for such a fun summer wedding! Here are a few of my favorites ~

I had the opportunity to meet Mandy, Dan, and their doggies –  Guinness, Miller and Buckeye again on Monday for their engagement session. Aren’t those the cutest names for their doggies? Needless to say, they weren’t really photogenic or enthusesd about the camera but still were happy to be there – We eventually made it downtown Cleveland [in the pimp!] safely . We walked around the Browns stadium – where these two will tie the knot in October! It was a lot of fun walking around a bit and ofcourse getting to know you both even more. Last Friday we spent the day with the sweetest bride ever! From Louisiana, Brittany automatically said “Yes, maam” all day long…and I loved it. Everyone was such a joy to be around and I loved being in a new area for me – Troy, Ohio – such a cute all-american town…which was so fitting for our summer holiday wedding. Dress blues, red dresses and yellow flowers – you can never go wrong with the primary colors! Brittany & Benji met in college [go Falcons!] the very first weekend of their freshman year. Congratulations to you both! Thank you for letting Mandy & I be part of your big day ~

June is always a full month of weddings for me and I was super happy to spend my last wedding in June with Sue & Troy. I knew their wedding would be fabulous with lots of laughs, great details and even some tears (their vows got to me!) . It’s no secret these two love the water [& boating] so it only seemed fitting to hold their cocktail hour outside on the patio and their reception overlooking the water at Maumee Bay Resort.  Everything was perfect.
