Stefanie got married back in March and mentioned to me how she loves airplanes. Yep, that’s it she loves airplanes – never has flown or knows any pilots but loves airplanes. To say she loves them might be an understatement, too – I should say that she has a slight obession. That’s when I mentioned to her about putting the dress back on in the summer (she’s a teacher) when we would have more time for the ‘wear it again’ session and we would find a plane for her. That’s what we did a few weeks ago. [sorry, my blog is way out of order] Unfortunately, we chose an evening that was pretty blah, yucky and evantually rainy. But Mandy & I still managed to have fun [ofcourse] and drove home with a lot of great shots! Along with the airplane, we used the ‘garage’ and the runway and loved all these. Stef’s husband is a farmer, so we made time before the rain for some corn & soybeans. haha – who needs the beach, the river or a rail car for some unique trashy shots. Enjoy!

And for those of you that have been considering a session like this…do it. Seriously folks when is your dress going to be warn again?

 

I met with Shelly & Chris for their engagement session last week and enjoyed getting to know them a bit more! They will be tieing the knot in October at one of my favorite places, the hall ~ The Nazareth Hall. They are both graduates of University of Toledo, so we agreed the campus would be a great place for the session and since it was ‘about to rain’ any minute we decided to do the whole session there, which still gave us a great variety. Looking forward to seeing you both again very soon! October will be here before you know it!

 

I’ve had a lot of time to think about what to say here for my wedding on the first of August and I’m still at a loss for words. This wedding was one of those that I drive home with a huge smile on my face, completely loving my job and knowing there are couples out there like Jamie & Scott. Wonderful families, big hearts, so relaxed with one another and perfer to laugh or kiss than smile. I loved doing their engagement session, I loved discussing details (no matter how tired we were) and I truly loved watching them become husband and wife. Spending time with them & their bridal party was like hanging out with a great group of friends. It was hilarious.  Jamie & Scott are parents to adorable Maddux so it only made sense to include him with a few photos on their wedding day. They were married in Bowling Green (which holds a special place in my heart – since I went to college there and met some great people throughout my years) at an impressive church that I passed by so often right in town and then celebrated on campus. Enjoy the sneek peak, it won’t be too much longer!

I love my couples! Brandy & Ryan made their engaement session seem like a walk in the park…oh wait, it was. It was a fun time, especially meeting their doggies! So funny to watch the four legged friends and let me tell you Wildwood Metro is definitely the place to be if you have one! Brandy & Ryan will be tying the knot in October and I’m soooo looking forward to it ~

 

It’s definitely engagement session season! I have 2 more e-session to post (evantually) after this – so hang tight. [along with a few weddings!!!]
